What happens if the electricity goes out?
Nothing will happen because the lock works on batteries or rechargeable batteries.
The only thing that will happen when the power goes out is that the Wi-Fi in your home won't work, which means the lock won't be able to communicate with your phone.
What happens if the lock is out of battery?
The lock will alert you when it has 200 more chances to unlock the door, which is very timely.
However, if the lock is running low, each lock comes with two physical keys that will unlock the door in the same way as the previous lock.
You can also charge the lock with a phone charger from the outside.
Can the lock be tampered?
Any lock can be tampered with, but an INO LOCK lock will be harder to break than a regular one.
How is our lock more secure than a conventional lock?
Our lock also acts as an alarm.
If a stranger tries to break the lock, it will start taking videos and photos of itself, which it will automatically send to your phone.
Can I install a smart lock on an existing door?
Of course you can.
However, you will need to measure two dimensions before installation:
1. The distance from the centre of the door handle to the centre of the keyhole.
2. The distance from the keyhole to the edge of the door.
